The Velvac 35152 Emergency Aluminum Shutoff Gladhand is designed for the emergency (supply) side of heavy-duty air brake systems, featuring a built-in shutoff to prevent air loss when disconnected. Manufactured from lightweight die-cast aluminum for durability and corrosion resistance, this gladhand includes a rubber coupling seal and a mounting seal to prevent galvanic corrosion between the gladhand and trailer. A robust metal inner ball enhances longevity and wear resistance. Fully compliant with SAE J318 standards for dependable service in commercial applications.
